性质简介：Zinc ethyl ester is a widely used analogue of the zinc ion fluorescent probe TSQ, and is also a cell permeable, quinolone based zinc ion (Zn2+) fluorescent probe used to measure or observe intracellular zinc ions. Esterases within living cells degrade ethyl groups to produce zinc, preventing it from flowing out and penetrating the cell membrane. Zinquin forms a complex with Zn2+at the N atom of its structure. Zin quin undergoes UV excitation and emits fluorescence within the blue spectral range (excitation wavelength 368nm, emission wavelength 490nm). Zinquin can also be used to monitor changes in intracellular Zn2+flow related to apoptosis.
